Okay, this is just nuts. The way these boats are built, they create a giant plate with the underwater hull forms arising from it. Then, IN THE MIDDLE OF CONSTRUCTION, they have to flip these things over to finish work. These difficult to handle forms can be well over 100 feet long. It takes at least one truck, one crane, lots of head scratching to get it over. Every time. But it’s so much fun to watch.
