As the first step in a long-term move back to Alaska, Doug Wood sought SDBM’s assistance in getting his pride and joy, a 1975 DeFever 34 Trawler, from Cabrillo Boat Shop in Long Beach, CA to Svendsen’s Boatyard in Alameda. Things went without a hitch, and Doug had high praise for Vic and SDBM:
“Thanks again for your help, Kevin’s patience with me in scheduling, Vic as driver and the great equipment, and we may need you again in a few years as we slowly return the boat to Alaska, where it started life afloat.”
